The San Diego Biotechnology Network has been hosting successful Speed Networking events for 9 years, making tens of thousands of connections between life scientists and biotech professionals. We’re bringing this popular and event to the San Francisco Bay Area October 7th! We have found that a casual atmosphere is great for making connections. The Laughing Monk Brewery is a spot with a great atmosphere and it’s convenient to both San Francisco and South San Francisco, just off the 101 and near a muni metro train station, making it accessible to the East Bay as well. It’s also a 10 minute drive/very affordable Lyft from SFO airport.

We’ll poll you on your interests when you register below, and set up themed tables based on your replies. You’ll have 4 minutes per conversation, and you’re guaranteed to make at least 25 targeted connections in one night. We’ll serve a casual dinner and there will be beer available for purchase. To prepare, work on your 30 second elevator speech, make sure you’ve got plenty of business cards, and sign up for SFBN updates because we’ll be posting tips before the event.
